Summary Explanation/Background
THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY SERVICES DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

This item supports the Board's Value of "Consistently delivering responsive, efficient, quality services to the public and internal customers".

Currently, the Enterprise Technology Services Division uses the Center for Internet Security's "Albert" intrusion detection monitoring and analysis solution. This solution is tailored specifically to state, local, tribal, and territorial government agencies, and provides near real-time detection and alerts based on its archive of incidents across numerous government entities.

On November 4, 2016, a Request for Information (RFI) No. R2112441F1 was issued by the Purchasing Division to determine if there were any vendors that could provide a managed intrusion detection monitoring and analysis service solution. The solicitation closed on November 30, 2016 with one response received.
