This motion supports the following Commission Value: “Offering sustainable, compatible, innovative housing options for all income-levels, including integrated, permanent supportive housing, and the Commission goals:
“Facilitate a regional approach to growth and redevelopment through coordination and collaboration at the federal, state, and local levels”; and
“Increase the availability of affordable housing of all types, countywide, in every community using effective, uniform criteria, policies and strategies.”
Section 11.06 of the Broward County Charter provides that the Broward Housing Council will submit an annual report to the County Commission. This agenda item, if approved, would accept the 2021 Annual Report.
