Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
Water Control District No. 3 serves the City of Pompano Beach as shown in Exhibit 1. The three-person Water Control District Advisory Board reviews budget development and implementation information developed by County staff and submits a recommended budget to the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.
The term of Ed Phillips on the Water Control District Advisory Board has expired. He agreed to continue serving on the Advisory Board. It is recommended that he be reappointed pursuant to Broward County Code of Ordinances Chapter 36-14(b).
