Summary Explanation/Background

THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.

 

Chapters 2 and 13 of the Broward County Administrative Code ("Administrative Code") established the Grants Administration Section as an "Additional Administrative Agency" within County Administration. The proposed Resolution amends the Administrative Code to repeal the establishment of the section and reallocate the section's functions and responsibilities to the Office of Management and Budget.
