Summary Explanation/Background
THE PARKS AND RECREATION DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

At the request of the Parks and Recreation Division (Parks), the Purchasing Division (Purchasing) issued Solicitation No. TRN2123738B1 for a Commercial Grade Tour Boat for the Anne Kolb Nature Center to the Non-Sheltered Market. The initial solicitation was advertised from November 10, 2021, through December 15, 2021, and received zero bids.

Purchasing then advertised the project a second time, Solicitation No. TRN2124372B1. The second solicitation was advertised from March 16, 2022, through April 20, 2022. Only one bid was received in the amount of $194,087. Upon reviewing the submittal, Parks confirmed that the single bidder met specifications and recommended Purchasing award to the single bidder. To award to the single bidder, a transfer of $44,087 from the Parks Facilities Improvement Capital Project would need to be made. Parks respectfully requests the Board approve this action.
