Summary Explanation/Background

Section 1-233(g) of the Broward County Code of Ordinance establishes the number of members needed to constitute a quorum for meetings of advisory or other boards.

 

The proposed amendment would provide that a quorum for advisory and certain other boards is a majority of the total appointed board members in attendance physically or through communications media technology, provided that a minimum of three appointed board members are in attendance physically.
