MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish Notice of Public Hearing to be held on September 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., to consider enactment of an Ordinance adopting a proposed amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan Natural Resource Map Series (PCNRM 22-1), to amend the Wetlands Map, as an amendment to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan, the substance of which is as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE WETLANDS MAP OF THE NATURAL RESOURCE MAP SERIES OF THE BROWARD COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Why Action is Necessary
It is necessary to schedule a public hearing of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners to be held subsequent to receipt of a recommendation from the Broward County Planning Council prior to adoption of an amendment to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan.
What Action Accomplishes
The Resolution directs the County Administrator to set a public hearing for September 8, 2022, to consider adoption of proposed amendment PCNRM 22-1, which is an amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan Natural Resource Map Series, pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended.
