Summary Explanation/Background
The County identified certain County-owned right-of-way parcels located in the Town of Davie that fall under the jurisdiction of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Transfer of ownership of these parcels to FDOT will allow FDOT to facilitate maintenance and repair, and will serve to match ownership of the parcels with jurisdiction.

In correspondence dated January 6, 2022, FDOT requested that Broward County transfer to FDOT the ownership of the parcels as the parcels are part of FDOT's roadway system.

All applicable Broward County agencies were solicited for potential County use for these parcels or rights therein and no current or future use was identified.

All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
