Summary Explanation/Background
THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT, THE ACCOUNTING DIVISION, AND THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Broward County Transportation Department requests approval for 11 staff members to travel to Naples, FL from September 18 - 21, 2022, to attend the 2022 Florida Public Transportation Association (FPTA) Annual Conference at the Naples Grand Beach Resort (Exhibit 1).
The FPTA Annual Conference will feature State and Federal updates regarding transit in Florida and the nation as well as educational sessions on transit planning, operations, marketing, safety and security, and provide networking opportunities for staff.
