A. MOTION TO APPROVE most reasonable source designation to Taylor Engineering, Inc., to provide consulting services for the Broward County Water Control Districts Future Needs Assessment Modeling project, for the Water Management Division.

B. MOTION TO AUTHORIZE Director of Purchasing to award resultant fixed contract to Taylor Engineering, Inc., for the Broward County Water Control Districts Future Needs Assessment Modeling project, for the Water Management Division. The estimated budget for the fixed contract is $525,000.

Why Action is Necessary
Motion A. In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.25, Sole Source Procurement, Board approval is required for awards exceeding Director of Purchasing's authority.
Motion B. In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.47(a), Award and Execution Authority, the Board shall make all awards, and authorize the execution of the associated contracts, with a value of more than $500,000, inclusive of the value of any renewals or extensions provided for in the contract.
