Summary Explanation/Background
THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 99,450 square feet of self-storage on approximately 2.8 acres located on the southeast corner of North State Road 7 and Northwest 44 Street, in the City of Lauderdale Lakes. The applicant is also seeking approval to waive the Right Turn Lane Construction Requirement.
The Development Review Report is attached, (see Exhibit 1).
