The following nomination has been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the HCOC pursuant to Section 12.153(a)(8)(b), Broward County Administrative Code:
Carl W. Falconer was elected as the new Chairperson of the Homeless Providers and Stakeholders' Council, and as such, he will be serving as their representative on the HCOC.
Approval of this item would give rise to certain employment conflicts under Section 112.313(7)(a), Florida Statutes, which provides that "no public officer...shall have or hold any employment or contractual relationship with any business entity...which is...doing business with an agency of which he or she ...
