This item proposes that the Board of County Commissioners ("Board") name Courtroom 15150 at the Main Courthouse, located at 201 S.E. Sixth Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301 ("Courtroom"), in honor of Michael Moskowitz.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Michael Moskowitz served the Broward County community for decades as a lawyer, lobbyist, philanthropist, and community leader. Mr. Moskowitz frequently walked the halls of the Broward County Governmental Center, armed with a smile, a story, and a mission. He lobbied before governmental bodies and regulatory authorities on behalf of both local and national clients. He had also represented Broward County in significant litigation.
