MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution Amending the Broward County Administrative Code, the title of which is as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO TERM LIMITS FOR THE BROWARD COUNTY HIV HEALTH SERVICES PLANNING COUNCIL MEMBERS; AMENDING SECTION 12.109 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ("ADMINISTRATIVE CODE"); AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish notice of public hearing to consider adoption of the Resolution Amending the Broward County Administrative Code was adopted by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners ("Commission") at its meeting of February 21, 2023.

THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This action supports the Commission's value of "building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives" and the goal of "delivering accessible human services that holistically address the whole person collaboratively and compassionately." This action also ensures the Broward County HIV Health Services Planning Council's ("Council") compliance with the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau ("HRSA HAB") memorandum to establish Council members' term limits and rotations (Exhibit 2).
