Summary Explanation/Background
The Broward County Transportation Department requested a perpetual, sidewalk easement and bus shelter easement on a portion of real property owned by Brickbox Oakland Park, LLC ("Brickbox Oakland Park"), located at 3101 N. Federal Highway, Suite 400, in Oakland Park for Broward County. The sidewalk easement allows the County to expand the sidewalk to install a bus shelter on the property for public use. The bus shelter easement allows the County to construct, maintain, and repair (as needed) said bus shelter. Brickbox Oakland Park has agreed to provide the County with the expanded sidewalk easement and the bus shelter easement at no cost to the County and executed the same on March 7, 2022.

All easement documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
