Summary Explanation/Background
On April 16, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners appointed Commissioner Mark D. Bogen, Commissioner Lamar Fisher, and Commissioner Dale V.C. Holness to serve on the Pompano Beach Residential District Advisory Board. Pursuant to Section 12.140.(a) of the Broward County Administrative Code and Section 1-233(a)(2)a. of the Broward County Code of Ordinances, members of the Pompano Beach Residential District Advisory Board serve until removed by the Board.

Section 12.139(b) of the Broward County Administrative Code allows the Board to appoint up to three County Commissioners to the Pompano Beach Residential Advisory Board, including at least one County Commissioner who represents the district that encompasses the Pompano Beach Residential District and one County Commissioner significantly familiar with the needs of the Pompano Beach Residential District.
