THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.

 

The Racial Equity Task Force (RETF) is comprised of 37 members appointed by the Broward County Commission. Black Lives Matter nominates a member to be appointed by the County Commission.

 

Lenisha Gibson was nominated by Black Lives Matter to serve on the RETF. The County Attorney has determined that Ms. Gibson qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
