THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.
The Police and Criminal Justice Review Board (PCJRB) is comprised of 24 members appointed by the Broward County Commission. The Black Lives Matter Group nominates a member to be appointed by the County Commission.
Michael R. Howson was nominated by the Black Lives Matter Group to serve on the PCJRB. The County Attorney has determined that Mr. Howson qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
