THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.
The Racial Equity Task Force (RETF) is comprised of 37 members appointed by the Broward County Commission. The Urban League of Broward County may nominate a member to be appointed by the County Commission.
The following nomination has been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the RETF pursuant to Section 1-118, Broward County Code:
Marcia Barry-Smith
The County Attorney has determined that Ms. Barry-Smith qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
