THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.

 

The Racial Equity Task Force (RETF) is comprised of 37 members appointed by the Broward County Commission. The Director of the Human Services Department nominates Anthony A. Sanders to be appointed by the County Commission to serve on the RETF in the category of “Broward County residents who are engaged in racial equity work in one of the County's systems of care for child welfare, housing, and homelessness, or health care services, each nominated by the Director of the Human Services Department, or designee.” This is one of six appointments in this category.

 

The County Attorney has determined that Mr. Sanders qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
