Why Action is Necessary

Board of County Commissioners' approval is required to accept an interest in real property pursuant to Broward County Administrative Code, Section 6.23.

 

What Action Accomplishes

Provides Broward County with a perpetual bus shelter easement to construct and maintain a bus shelter that provides transit riders a convenient and comfortable bus stop on the southwest corner of the property and east of Federal Highway U.S. 1 for public use.

Broward County Transit requested this perpetual easement from HTG Fiori, LLC., for a high ridership bus stop in Hollywood at a Pre-Application meeting at FDOT for Broward County Transit to construct and maintain a bus shelter for public use.
