Summary Explanation/Background
On August 24, 2021 (Agenda Item No. 86), the Board of County Commissioners of Broward County approved a motion to declare this parcel, identified by folio number 5141 0301 0940 and located in the Town of Davie, surplus to the County's needs and authorized the Real Property Section to manage the sale of the parcel pursuant to Section 125.35(2), Florida Statutes. Notices were sent to adjacent property owners advising them of the County's intent to sell the parcel and requesting sealed bids. Three timely bids were received. Staff recommends approval of the Purchase and Sale Agreement to the highest bidder, Mark and Angela Gasch, for a purchase price of $24,995.
