Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THIS MOTION.

Many redevelopment projects are on constrained sites where construction material staging and temporary trailers need to be located off-site on adjacent property. The proposed amendment to the Land Development Code would provide clarification and specifically exempt temporary construction staging areas, temporary sales trailers, and other temporary uses from the requirements to amend plat notes and non-vehicular access lines.
