Broward County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") approval is required for the execution of this Public Transportation Grant Agreement ("PTGA").
What Action Accomplishes
Allows the Broward County Aviation Department ("BCAD") to accept grant funding from the State of Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") for the construction of the Taxiway A Rehabilitation project ("Project") at Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport ("FLL").

THE AVIATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This action allows BCAD to accept grant funding from FDOT for the construction of the Project at FLL.
The estimated total construction cost for Phase I of the Project is $ 21,268,000 ("Project Cost"). As outlined in the PTGA, FDOT will provide grant funding for 12.50% of the total Project Cost, estimated to be $2,658,500. BCAD anticipates that the Federal Aviation Administration will provide additional grant funding for 75% of the total Project Cost, estimated to be $15,951,000, and Broward County ("County") will fund the remaining 12.50% of the total Project Cost, e...
