MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to approve and execute an Amended and Restated License Agreement with Tradewinds & Atlantic Railroad, Inc. (formerly known as Florida Live Steamers and Railroaders, Inc.), a Florida not-for-profit corporation, for the continued use, operation, and maintenance of a scale-model railroad facility at Tradewinds Park, subject to review and approval as to legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney, at no cost for unlimited five-year renewals and termination by either party upon 30 days' notice; and authorize the County Administrator to take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement the Amended and Restated Agreement.

THE PARKS AND RECREATION DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
Broward County ("County") entered into a license agreement in 1989, and a First Amendment in 1994 (together, the "Current Agreement"), with the Florida Live Steamers and Railroaders, Inc., for the installation, operation and maintenance of a one and a half scale model railroad, approximately 5,000 feet in length, around a specified lake within Tradewinds Park (the "Park").
