Summary Explanation/Background
THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 66 townhomes and 1.3 acres of park use on approximately 6.5 acres located on the north side of Southwest 34th Street, between Southwest 68th Avenue/Jasmine Avenue and Southwest 69th Avenue, in the City of Miramar.

The proposed uses are in compliance with the effective land use plan and subject to the executed "Interlocal Agreement for the Monitoring of Development Activity and Enforcement of Permitted Land Uses in Activity Center," as recorded in Instrument Number 117943826.
