MOTION TO AWARD open-end contract to low bidder, Trebron Security, LLC, for Sophos Central Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Complete Security Services, Bid No. TEC2128072B1, for the Broward County Office of Regional Communications and Technology, in the initial one-year estimated amount of $166,295, and authorize the Director of Purchasing to renew the contract for two, one-year periods in the estimated annual amounts of $171,000, for a three-year potential estimated amount of $508,295.

Why Action is Necessary
A. In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code Section 21.25(a), Sole Source Procurement, sole brand procurements above the award authority of the Director of Purchasing must be approved by the Board.
B. In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code Section 21.47(a), Award and Execution Authority, the Board shall make all awards, with a value of more than $500,000, inclusive of the value of any renewals or extensions provided for in the contract.

A. Approves use of sole brand Sophos Central Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Complete Security software and services for Broward County Office of Regional Communications and Technology.
B. Approves a resultant open-end contract for Sophos Central Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Complete Security Services to Trebron Security, LLC for Office of Regional Communications and Technology.
