Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE CONSUMER PROTECTION DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

Since the implementation of a wholesale rewrite of the childcare licensing provisions in December 2023, Consumer Protection Division staff has identified a number of minor items that merit modification or were inadvertently omitted in the rewrite.  This item would direct the Office of the County Attorney, in consultation with the Child Care Licensing and Enforcement Section, to revise the child care regulations to correct these issues.
