Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/REAL PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

On March 10, 2020 (Item No. 40), Broward County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 2020-098, accepting the transfer of certain real property located in the Broward Municipal Services District ("Property") from the District to the County through a special warranty deed, for right-of-way purposes.

The special warranty deed conveying the property to the County contained errors in the Property's legal description, and as a result, Broward County Property Appraiser would not transfer the Property.

Acceptance of this Corrective Quit Claim Deed will rectify errors on the legal description and clear the chain of title.

All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
