MOTION TO ADOPT budget Resolution transferring funds from reserve within the General Capital Outlay Fund in the amount of $160,000 to provide additional funds needed for implementation and customizations of the Human Services Department's (HSD) Client Services Management Services (CSMS) System Replacement.

Why Action is Necessary
Section 21.47(a), Broward County Administrative Code, requires Broward County Board of County Commissioners ("Commission") approval of agreements with a value of more than $500,000.
Board approval is required to transfer funds from reserve.
What Action Accomplishes
Approval of the Motion allows the Human Services Department continuous access and professional development customizations to the Human Services Management System used by direct-service agencies as the primary client management and request for disbursement solution software ("FamCare").
This action appropriates one-time resources from the reserve for the HSD CSMS System Replacement.
