MOTION TO APPROVE standard form agreement for SWIM Central program, pursuant to Section 13.91(h) of the Broward County Administrative Code, for use with instructors teaching swim lessons eligible for reimbursement through the program; authorize the County Administrator to approve modifications to the form agreement that do not increase the cost to County, subject to review and approval for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney; and authorize the County Administrator to take all necessary administrative actions to implement the resulting agreements.

What Action Accomplishes
This action approves an updated standard form agreement for use in the implementation of the SWIM Central water-safety education and instruction program and authorizes the County Administrator to approve modifications to the form agreement that do not increase the cost to County, subject to review and approval for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney.

PARKS AND RECREATION DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Parks and Recreation Division requests that the Board approve a new standard form agreement for use with the County's SWIM Central Program ("Program"). The new form clarifies the Program's practices and procedures and reflects incorporates the County's current standard form agreement provisions.
The Children's Services Council of Broward County ("CSCBC") has provided matching grant funds since 2002 to the Program, on a reimbursement basis with contracting agencies. In Fiscal Year 2025, CSCBC will increase reimbursement rates and fundi...
