MOTION TO APPROVE Fourth Amendment to Agreement between Broward County and Presidio Networked Solutions, LLC (formerly known as Coleman Technologies, Inc.), for Cisco Equipment and Support Services, to extend the term of the Agreement for six months with the option to extend for up to six additional one-month terms thereafter, with no increase to the current estimated threshold; and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute same.

Why Action is Necessary
In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code Section 21.53(a), Duration of Contracts, Board approval is required for all contracts for supplies and services of more than five years.
What Action Accomplishes
Extends the Agreement for a six-month term and up to six additional one-month renewal periods thereafter.

This item supports the Board's Accountable Government Goal, "Consistently delivering responsive, efficient, inclusive, and equitable quality services to the public and internal customers while providing a safe community to live, work and visit."
The Cisco communications and support services ("SMARTnet") comprise the entire network backbone of services throughout County's operations and at most of the County's facilities, including the County courthouses and detention facilities.
