MOTION TO APPROVE First Amendment to Agreement between Broward County and Corvel Healthcare Corporation, for Medical Cost Containment and Nurse Case Management Services for the Workers' Compensation Program, to extend the term for one year from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, and authorize the Director of Purchasing to renew the contract for up to two optional one-year renewal periods; and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute the same.

Why Action is Necessary
In accordance with Broward County Procurement Code Section 21.53, Duration of Contracts, a County contract shall not exceed five years in duration without the express approval of the Board.
What Action Accomplishes
Automatically extends the current agreement term for case management, medical cost containment, and nurse case management services under the County's Workers' Compensation Program and allows Broward County to further extend the term for up to two optional one-year renewal periods under the same rates, terms, and conditions.
