MOTION TO DIRECT County Attorney’s Office to draft agreements with the designated municipality and charitable organizations, in the amounts and for the purposes indicated herein, for a total donated amount of $24,000 in projected excess office account funds for County Commission District 9 for Fiscal Year 2026; and to authorize the County Administrator to execute the agreements, subject to review and approval as to legal sufficiency by the County Attorney’s Office, and to take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement same. $500 for the City of Lauderdale Lakes. The City of Lauderdale Lakes will utilize the donated funds to support its annual Senior Gala.
$500 for Alan and Michelle Alexander Ministries, Inc. (“Alexander Ministries”). Alexander Ministries is a nonprofit organization that provides food assistance and community outreach in Broward County.
