Summary Explanation/Background
THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This action will approve a correction decreasing the previously approved funding to reflect the intended budgeted funding in Agreement No. 19-CP-HIP-8470-ESG-02 between Broward County and Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Inc. (the “Agreement”).
On November 10, 2020 (Item No. 81, Motion C), the Commission approved a funding increase in the Agreement that inadvertently combined funds from two contracts for the same provider. This agenda item revises the reference in the Motion from the Second Amendment to the First Amendment. The item also identifies $44,019 as the Agreement’s then-current funded amount and $526,733 as the correct amended amount intended for Commission approval on November 10, 2020. All other information in the previously approved Agenda Item No. 81, Motion C remains the same.
