Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Planning and Development Management Division has received a request to vacate a 20-foot landscape easement lying within Parcel A of the Kevin Thomas-Scot Greve Plat, as recorded in Plat Book 177, Page 80, generally located at the southwest corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Northwest 12 Avenue in the City of Pompano Beach. Vacating this easement will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
The City of Pompano Beach adopted Ordinance No. 2019-63 on May 28, 2019 granting approval of the abandonment and vacation of the 20-foot landscape easement. Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the abandonment and vacation of the subject right-of-way.
This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
