Board approval is required to release easements, all or in part, pursuant to Section 27.68 of the Broward County Administrative Code and Section 336.09 of Florida Statues.

Summary Explanation/Background
THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Urban Planning Division has received a request to release a portion of a right-of-way easement granted by the deed recorded in Official Records Book 4673, Page 953 and abandon that certain right-of-way recorded in Miscellaneous Plat Book 6, Page 23 of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida, generally on the west side of Davie Road between Service Road and Southwest 37th Street in the Town of Davie. Vacating this easement will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the release of a portion of a right-of-way easement.
This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney (Exhibit 1).
