THE BROWARD SHERIFFS OFFICE, THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT, AND THE REAL PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Broward County Real Property and Real Estate Development Division received a request from Florida Power & Light Company (FP&L) to facilitate the granting of an underground utility easement to install a junction box and related equipment in the vicinity of the existing meter enclosure on County-owned property, in order to facilitate the delivery of underground electric service to the site.
Broward County Fire Station 27 is located on County-owned property (Folio number 514230021420) at 2610 Southwest 40 Avenue in the City of West Park, Florida. FP&L is implementing its Storm Secure Underground Program, which requires a ten-foot by ten-foot easement area to provide underground electrical service and to install a junction box for service connection.
The Easement instrument has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
