Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The proposed Resolution (Exhibit 1) allows the County to accept a nonexclusive and perpetual utility easement of variable width located on a portion of Parcel “H”, of “Pine Crest Isles”, according to the Plat recorded in Plat Book 63, Page 48, of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida.

 

This item relates to new utilities constructed by a land developer within the Water and Wastewater Services District 1 potable water and wastewater service area under Utility Connection Permit BCUCP-21-022 and transferred to Broward County. This easement is required so that Broward County can install and maintain the water and sewer mains and associated appurtenances serving the public in perpetuity.

 

The Resolution and utility easement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
