Summary Explanation/Background
THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Urban Planning Division has received a request to vacate the following specified easement: a 12-foot-wide drainage easement, lying within Parcel B of The Ben Ash Plat, as recorded in Plat Book 124, Page 15, of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida, and generally located on north side of West Oakland Park Boulevard, between Northwest 90th Terrace and Northwest 94th Avenue, in the City of Sunrise, Florida.
The City of Sunrise adopted Resolution No. 24-35 on March 12, 2024, granting approval of this vacation. Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the vacation of the subject easement.
This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney, see Exhibit 1.
