This Forum will include a gathering of 300 global stakeholders with a focus on driving exponential progress in the next phase of effective urban resilience. Participants will include municipal leaders including Mayors, Chief Resilience Officers, solution providers, investors, and innovators to explore the next decade of urban resilience, and will examine how local governments can scale proven solutions, learn from each other, and integrate cutting-edge innovations to strengthen resilience at the local and systemic levels.
Areas of exploration will include risk finance, insurance solutions, and blended finance models to de-risk resilience investments and the challenge of funding urban resilience by making resilience outcomes more measurable and investable. The agenda will also highlight how understanding new technologies can safeguard critical infrastructure and improve local decision-making and early warning systems.
