MOTION TO DIRECT County Attorney’s Office to draft an agreement with Zeta Chi 1954 Education and Foundation, Inc., in the total amount of any District 8 excess budgeted office account funds for Fiscal Year 2025 (approximately $39,000) to fund the community service programs of the organization, including mentoring, food drives, literacy programs, and community restoration programs; and authorize the County Administrator to execute the agreement and take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement same. District 8 office has remaining Fiscal Year 2025 budgeted funds that it would like to provide to Zeta Chi 1954 Education and Foundation, Inc. to fund their community service programs. This organization needs financial assistance to continue to carry out those efforts, and it is District 8’s goal to further their mission through this proposed agreement.
