Board approval is required to release easements, all or in part, pursuant to Section 27.69 of the Broward County Administrative Code.

Directs the County Administrator to publish a Notice of Public Hearing for the release of easements in accordance with Chapter 27, Part XV of the Broward County Administrative Code.

Summary Explanation/Background
THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Urban Planning Division has received a request to release a 12-foot-wide utility easement as recorded in book 13068, page 468, of the official record of Broward County, Florida, and generally located on the east side of Northeast 17th Avenue between Northeast 32nd Court and Northeast 32nd Place, in the City of Pompano Beach, Florida. Vacating this easement will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the vacation of the subject easement.
This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney, see Exhibit 1.
