THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This item relates to activities in the Broward Municipal Services District (“BMSD”), formerly known as Unincorporated Broward County. The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is the governing body of the BMSD and provides municipal services to the area.
The Resolution (Exhibit 1) will grant Broward County a Road Easement from Central County Community Development Corporation on a portion of real property located at the southwest corner of Northwest 27 Terrace and Northwest 9 Street in the Broward Municipal Services District (refer to Exhibit 2 for the Location Map). The executed Road Easement (Exhibit 3) is required to provide adequate sight distance at the intersection.
