Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The proposed Resolutions (Exhibits 1-5) allow the County to accept five utility easements located at 3300 NW 51st Avenue, 3581 NW 49th Avenue, 3161 NW 51st Avenue, 3351 NW 51st Avenue, and 3551 NW 51st Avenue within the City of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, on a portion of the southwest quarter of section 24, township 49 south, range 41 east of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida.
This item relates to the Utility Analysis Zone 122 utility construction project (local utility improvement project) within Water and Wastewater Services District 1 potable water and sanitary sewer service area. These easements are required so that Broward County can maintain the public water and sewer mains and associated appurtenances serving the public in perpetuity.
The Resolutions and utility easements have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
