Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions.

This plat is located on 4.4 acres on both east and west sides of State Road A1A / South Ocean Drive between Terra Mar Drive and Southeast 13th Street, in the City of Pompano Beach. The applicant is requesting to amend the non-vehicular access line abutting the east and west sides of State Road A1A by relocating and reducing the existing four (4) access openings from 50-foot to approximately 30 to 40 feet each to be consistent with the current site plan approved by the City of Pompano Beach, which includes revisions to the driveway locations and geometry of the internal drop off for both Parcel A and B.
