Broward County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") approval is required for the execution of this Standard Grant Agreement ("SGA").

Summary Explanation/Background
THE AVIATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This action allows BCAD to accept grant funding from FDEP for the Ravenswood System Interconnection Project ("Project") at FLL.
The Project will improve and upgrade the North Stormwater Management System ("North System") within the northwest portion of FLL. During significant storm events and King Tides, the North System experiences extensive flooding throughout the airfield areas, resulting in shutdowns of the airfield and impact to operations at FLL. The Project will include interconnecting the Northern System to the Ravenswood System to the west of I-95 with a proposed 72-inch equalizer stormwater pipe and expanding the existing stormwater management areas in the Ravenswood System.
