Why Action is Necessary
In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.47, Award and Execution Authority, the Board shall make all awards, and authorize the execution of the associated agreements, with a value of more than $500,000, inclusive of the value of any renewals or extensions.

THE PURCHASING DIVISION AND THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION (FMD) RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) determined that no County Business Enterprise (CBE) goal should apply to this solicitation (Exhibit 2).
The Agreement provides roofing and waterproofing consultant services, on as-needed basis. Services include roofing and waterproofing assessments and improvements; inventory and assessment of building structures; identification of repair needs; and development of specifications, solicitation assistance, construction administration, and monitoring services, as applicable.
