Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (Broward County Land Development Code) requires changes to previously approved or recorded plats to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Approves a non-vehicular access line amendment adjacent to the plat, subject to staff recommendation and conditions ensuring compliance with the standards and requirements of the Broward County Land Development Code.

Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions.

 

This plat is located on 149.53 acres on south of Southwest 3 Street, between Powerline Road and the C.S.X. Railroad, in the City of Pompano Beach.  The applicant is requesting to amend the existing non-vehicular access line adjacent to the plat by reducing the existing access opening along Southwest 3 Street from a 220-foot opening to a 210-foot opening while shifting the existing non-vehicular access line along the west side of said access opening 10 feet to the east to allow sufficient access to the adjacent parcel.

 

The Development Review Report is attached (Exhibit 1).
