Why Action is Necessary
A. Board of County Commissioners' approval is required for amendments pursuant to the Right-of-Way Beautification Agreement, Section 9.11.
B. Board of County Commissioners' approval is required for amendments pursuant to the Maintenance of Landscaping and Irrigation Agreement, Section 9.11.
What Action Accomplishes
A. Clarifies the procedures for submission and approval of revised landscaping and irrigation plans for right-of-way improvements on Pine Island Road from Sheridan Street to Stirling Road.
B. Provides explicit authority for Monterra Community Development District and the City of Cooper City to enter into a separate maintenance agreement to effectuate the terms of the Agreement and this First Amendment.
